Building the future of African film circulation.

Wawkumba Film, alongside its partners, brings together distributors from East, Central and West Africa — both Francophone and Anglophone — within the African Distributors Network (ADN), committed to promoting African cinema.

While distribution networks already exist, globalization and the high consumption of content in Africa call for a reinvention of our model. Our goal is to create a network aligned with the needs of our populations and capable of meeting growing market demand.

We are convening a roundtable to discuss how to circulate African films across the Global South — Francophone and Anglophone alike — to identify the stakes and challenges facing distributors and exchange innovative solutions: theatrical releases, sales, co-marketing, shared festival strategy.

"Selling the African Dream" — a slogan that reflects our mission to promote African cinema, on its own terms.
